Refunds and cancellation
How to stop paying us, and when you get your money back.
In effect from 13 August 2026.
Cancelling
Cancel any time from your billing page. It takes two taps and opens Stripe's own portal. There's no notice period, no cancellation fee, and nobody to phone.
You keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for. After that the account goes read-only: your calendar, applications and booking history stay put and stay visible — we don't delete anything because you stopped paying. Subscribe again later and everything is where you left it.
Our 14-day guarantee
If you subscribe and decide within 14days that it isn't for you, email gigplan@gigplan.co.ukand we'll refund that payment in full. No form, no reason needed.
This is on top of the free trial, not instead of it — the trial is there so you shouldn't need this.
After the first 14 days
Monthly plan: cancel whenever; the current month isn't refunded, and you aren't charged again.
Annual plan: cancel whenever, and we'll refund the whole unused months at the monthly rate. Nine months in, you get three months back.
If we've had a serious outage, or something on our side lost you a booking, tell us. We'd rather refund you than argue about it.
The £5 invitation fee
This one is different, because it does its work immediately. When you pay, we email up to ten nearby acts inviting them to apply for that date. Once those emails have gone out we can't unsend them, so the £5 isn't refundable at that point. You're told this and asked to confirm it before you pay.
If we sent no emails — because nobody eligible was left by the time your payment went through — we refund the £5 automatically. You never pay for an empty send.
The £5 buys the invitations, not results. Whether any act applies is up to them.
Your statutory rights
Most people buying GigPlan are buying it for a business, which means the 14-day statutory cooling-off period for distance contracts generally doesn't apply. Our guarantee above gives you the same 14 days anyway.
If you are buying as a consumer rather than for a business, your rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in full and nothing on this page limits them.
How refunds arrive
Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe. They usually land in 5–10 working days depending on your bank; we can't make that part faster.
Questions, or think something's been charged wrongly? Email gigplan@gigplan.co.uk before raising it with your bank — we can almost always fix it same day, and a chargeback takes weeks.
