Terms of service
The agreement between you and us when you use GigPlan to take gig applications.
In effect from 13 August 2026.
1. Who you're contracting with
GigPlan is operated by Jadd Al-Khabbaz, a sole trader trading as GigPlan, at 166 Banks Rd, West Kirby, Wirral CH48 0RH. Contact: gigplan@gigplan.co.uk.
Using the service means you accept these terms. If you're agreeing on behalf of a pub or company, you confirm you're allowed to.
2. What GigPlan does — and doesn't
GigPlan gives your venue a public page where acts apply for the dates you publish, an inbox to review them, and automatic confirmation and decline emails when you decide.
We are not an agent, promoter or booker, and we are not a party to any gig. The booking is a contract between you and the act, on the fee the two of you agree. We never handle that fee — no money for a gig passes through us at any point.
We don't promise you'll receive applications, that any act will be any good, or that anyone will turn up. Checking who you are booking is your job.
3. Your account
You need a working email address, and you must be 18 or over. Keep your sign-in link to yourself — anyone with access to your inbox can get into your account.
You're responsible for what you publish: your venue's details, the dates, and the accuracy of the fee you agree with an act.
4. Free trial
New venues get 14 days free, no card required. When the trial ends and you haven't subscribed, your account goes read-only: your calendar, applications and history stay exactly where they are and you can still see them, but you can't publish new dates or accept applications until you subscribe. We don't delete your data for non-payment.
5. Price and payment
The subscription is £25 per month, or £250 per year. Prices include VAT where it applies. Payment is by card through Stripe, taken when you subscribe and then automatically at the start of each period until you cancel.
Optional extra: you can pay a one-off £5 to invite up to ten nearby acts to apply for one specific date. That fee is ours, not the act's — it does not go towards anyone's gig fee.
We may change prices, but not in the middle of a period you've already paid for, and we'll email you at least 30 days before a change affects you. Carrying on after that is acceptance; cancelling before it takes effect costs nothing.
If a payment fails, Stripe will retry it. If it keeps failing your account goes read-only rather than being deleted.
6. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel any time from the billing page — there's no notice period and no cancellation fee. The full detail, including your 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, is on the refunds and cancellation page.
7. Fair use
Don't use GigPlan to:
- publish dates you have no intention of filling;
- harass, mislead or discriminate against acts who apply;
- harvest performers' contact details for anything other than booking the date they applied for;
- break the law, or get us to break it on your behalf.
We can suspend an account that does these things. Where it's fixable we'll tell you first.
8. Availability
We aim to keep GigPlan running, but we don't guarantee it will never be down, and we may take it offline for maintenance. We'll try to do that when pubs aren't booking.
9. If something goes wrong
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law says can't be limited. If you're a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by these terms.
Otherwise, we're not liable for lost profits, lost bookings, lost goodwill or indirect losses, and our total liability to you in any 12-month period is capped at what you paid us in that period.
We're not liable for what an act does or fails to do — including not turning up.
10. Your data
How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy notice. You remain responsible for the applicant data your venue receives and for treating it fairly.
11. Ending it
You can stop using GigPlan whenever you like. We can end this agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately if you seriously break these terms. If we end it without cause, we'll refund the unused part of what you've paid.
You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time — see the privacy notice.
12. Changes to these terms
We'll email venues before a material change takes effect. Minor corrections we'll just make, and update the date at the top.
13. Law and complaints
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings in your own courts.
Complaints go to gigplan@gigplan.co.ukfirst. We'd rather sort it out directly than have you go anywhere else.
